EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THE TYPE IIIA RARELY SHOWS ALL OF THE DEFINING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TYPE -- THIS STAMP IS A TRUE CONDITION RARITY.
The layout of Plate 4 still left little room for perforations. Most examples of Type IIIa are poorly centered, especially top-to-bottom. The example offered here, showing clear and unmistakable characteristics of the type, is a condition rarity.
With 1990 and 2007 P.F. certificates (the former stating that "it is genuine", implying Mint N.H.)
