Oct. 28, 1865" double-circle ds, matching cogwheel cancels 3c and ties 2c, carried by the D. C. Murray (cleared Oct. 7, arrived Oct. 27), small opening tear and nicked corner in cover at left, the 5c has tiny crease and microscopic tear at top from placement near edge, still Very Fine and an extremely rare mixed franking with the U.S. Black Jack issue, ex West, Harris, Krug, signed Ashbrook
