EXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS STUNNING USED EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE HAS BEEN GRADED GEM 100 BY P.S.A.G. AND SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED BY P.S.E.
With 2011 P.F., 2010 P.S.A.G. (Gem 100) and 2011 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $1,800.00). This is the highest grade awarded in the P.S.E. Population Report and only one other example has achieved this grade, offered in our recent Natalee Grace sale. One could argue between the two grades on this stamp, but without question this is one of the finest used 10c Trans-Mississippi stamps extant
