Clear impression on 10 x 15in. handwritten document in French, dated at Montreal Apr. 28, 1766, clear strike of "One Penny Sheet" crowned circle handstamp, excellent embossing with no writing covering it, minor edge faults and two small square pieces removed from document, Very Fine and rare, only approximately ten are recorded, accompanied by a British 6p embossed revenue in blue on part of an illustrated indenture, Very Fine

March 15, 1766 handwritten legal document executed in Quebec, "Nine Pence Quire" crowned circle handstamp, excellent condition for this with faults limited to some edge and fold wear or small tears, one piece of tape at edge of one of the folds, Very Fine embossing, these often have writing over them and this example, which is completely clear of writing is particularly choice, for some reason the Scott value jumped from $2,500.00 to $17,000.00 a couple of years ago

March 15, 1766 handwritten legal document written in French, "Nine Pence Quire" crowned circle handstamp, appears to be missing lower half of document and some minor edge tears, also small toned spot at bottom left of embossing, still Extremely Fine embossing, these often have writing over them and this example, which is completely clear of writing is nicely visible, for some reason the Scott value jumped from $2,500.00 to $17,000.00 a couple of years ago
