20th Century Balance of the Porter W. Venn II Collection. 16 albums containing hundreds if not more than a thousand entires, 20th Century issues from the Hartford issue thru more modern issues, excluding the Mercantile issue (which is offered in lot 1742), these entires constitute what we consider the "organized" portion of Venn's 20th Century collection, arranged in UPSS no. order in two different size binders, UPSS numbers written on the backs by Venn, the most valuable entires removed for individual lots but plenty of desirable entires remain in the mid-$100s range including a number of better Revalued issues, unlike his 19th Century collection Venn did not maintain a marked catalog so any estimate on UPSS value would be guesswork, as such viewing is recommended, Very Fine balance

1907-19 Mercantile Issues, Balance of the Porter W. Venn II Collection (U400/U419). Massive accumulation in well over 20 shoe and other size boxes, thousands of entires both unused and used, significant duplication, we presume the full range of UPSS numbers for these issues but these are not organized into albums like other sections of the Venn collection, therefore any estimate of UPSS value would be speculation and we recommend viewing the lot, overall an impressive hoard
