EXTREMELY FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1876 90-CENT CARMINE ON CREAM ENTIRE CENTENNIAL SPECIAL PRINTING.
The regular issue Die 70 indicia has a colorless dot below the Perry bust. The Centennial Special Printing entires were embossed with a new die and lack the dot. They were very carefully produced and the intense shades and extremely detailed impressions are a hallmark of the Special Printings.
