VERY FINE APPEARANCE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE BUREAU OF ENGRAVING AND PRINTING TEST STAMP FOR VERTICAL ROTARY PRESS COILS, SCOTT TD21. THIS IS THE FIRST WE HAVE OFFERED SINCE KEEPING COMPUTERIZED RECORDS.

According to Scott, this series were the first test stamps used by the Bureau during their effort to develop rotary press printing. This is the only BEP-printed test stamp perforated horizontally. Scott value $4,500.00 as singles
