12c Black, Plate 1 (36). 10 singles, one pair and a strip of four selected for unusual cancellations, includes circle of rays (Davenport Ia.), prison bars (Columbus O.), "bottle stopper" with numeral 14, framed grid (Montgomery Ala.), blue Philadelphia datestamp, grids in blue, red and dark red, a few different datestamps used as cancels, trivial faults to be expected, but overall Fine, a desirable group of cancels on the 12c 1857, Scott value $5,200.00 with premiums only for numeral and colored cancels

12c Black, Plate 1 (36). 10 singles and two pairs, selected for unusual numeral and foreign-mail cancellations, includes different credit handstamps (3, 7, 19, 38), other numerals (5, 24, 30), British P.O. numeral grids (466, 79), eight struck in red, one in blue, minor faults to be expected, but overall Fine, an outstanding assemblage which would be extremely difficult to replicate, Scott value $4,820.00 with premiums only for numeral and colored cancels (the British and higher rate numerals are worth more)
