Sale 1260, Lot 148, Revenues$1.00 1934 Hunting Permit (RW1). Mint N.H., deep rich color and proof-like impression, Jumbo margins and outstanding centering

EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE FIRST HUNTING PERMIT ISSUE.

With 2022 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $3,600.00). Comparing this to the Superb 98 and 98 Jumbos we have offered, we are very surprised this did not receive that grade -- it is every bit their equal. In any case it is an extraordinary example of the first Federal Hunting Permit.
