Italy 17th Century Folded Letters. 41, mostly from the 17th Century (1604 is the earliest we saw), a few from the early 18th Century, many are from a business correspondence to Florence ("Firenze"), but other destinations as well, including one to Vienna (which has cord and largely intact seal), some from notable Cardinals, some with large wax seals applied, interesting uses including Navy ("Con Nave"), we have scanned the front and back of every item, so the specialist can see all of the important details

Italian States - Naples Philatelic Forgeries and Reprints Collection. Over 150 items neatly mounted on exhibit pages, begins with a genuine group of the 1858 First Issue, 1898 Reprint singles and die proof pairs including the 1g and 5g tete-beche, numerous forgeries identified as Oneglia, Spiotti, and Fournier, various 1860 -1/2t Trinacria and -1/2t Savoy Cross forgeries identified by Carl Walske, plus -1/2t Savoy Cross examples of the three types of Sperati forgeries and two die proofs signed by Sperati, plus forgery blocks of the 1861 Neapolitan Issue and Sperati forgeries of the 2g Blue and 2g Black error of color, mostly Fine-Very Fine, an exceptional reference group

Japan Collection. Mounted in four hingeless Lighthouse albums with pages to 1990s plus some additional stock pages of classic material, albums with typically unused but light in early issues, fairly well-filled 20th century to 1970s with some better singles, sets, and souvenir sheets noticed, stock pages with early classics including numerous 1871-72 First Issues though we notice a number of forgeries mixed with genuine stamps, condition is generally Fine or better, careful inspection recommended for the early classics

Latin America Mostly Used Collection. In four Scott albums, contains the Central American countries, plus Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Venezuela, some countries go to the 1970s, value in 19th Century, Colombia is perhaps the strongest, but useful stamps from other countries, mixed condition

In a Bush album, high degree of completion for the major Scott numbers, Postage, Air Post, and Postage Due issues are all complete, including the key 1948 Air Post and 1949 Postage Due sets, includes some Revenue stamps that are not listed in Scott, and some other A.M.G. issues, spot check of better stamps shows all Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine, Scott value for just the listed Trieste issues is over $4,000.00

In eight Lighthouse hingeless albums (with slipcases) and five additional binders, includes New York, Geneva, Vienna, Kosovo issues, and Untea set in singles and blocks, albums go to 2012 and have both singles and sheetlets, appears to be complete, the additional binders contain some later material, duplicates (including two more No. 38 souvenir sheets), imprint blocks, and more, Mint N.H., Fine-Very Fine, the original cost (and potential resale value) is many multiples of our estimate

Uruguay 1859 60c-240c Thin Numeral Collection. Over 170 stamps mounted on pages and mostly identified by types, includes 60c (46 examples), few unused and some tied on small pieces, 80c (nine examples) with three unused (one with original gum), 100c (23 examples) and 120c (29 examples) few unused but mostly used, 180c (42 examples) mostly unused with a few used, and 240c (22 examples) mix of used and unused, margins vary but most with four margins, wide array of cancels, small flaws to be expected but much is Fine-Very Fine, Scott value should exceed $9,600.00

Vietnam Accumulation. Stock arranged in stockbooks, glassine and counter pages, from the Viet Minh issues of the 1940s to the late 1990s, and some of the National Liberation Front issues that are not listed in Scott, with early North Vietnam sets in useful quantities, some used (c.t.o.), Fine-Very Fine stock of this increasingly popular country

Zanzibar 1895-97 Overprint and Surcharged Issues, the John Griffith-Jones Specialized Balance. Housed on homemade pages in three albums plus some loose on exhibit and stock pages, both unused and used throughout, first two albums covering the "Zanzibar" overprint issue to the 5r, with a high degree of specialization with various minor varieties including those listed in Stanley Gibbons as Ty. A-I (many of which carry a premium to as much as 5x normal), numerous plating notes with singles and multiples including strips and blocks, plus some better listed errors such as Double Overprints and 1r Vertical Overprint, third album focused the 1896 Surcharged values where we notice numerous individual items cataloguing several hundred each, plus the 1896 B.E.A. Overprinted Issue, the 1897 Sultan Surcharges, and even some India used in Zanzibar with covers, mostly Fine-Very Fine, a lot worthy of careful viewing and an important addition to any serious specialized collection

About 120 items housed on stockpages and exhibit pages covering the India Overprinted "Zanzibar" issues, we notice everything from entires including registered, postal cards, reply cards and wrappers, mixture of both unused and used, extensive offering with numerous minor varieties noted, few interesting destinations as well, mostly Fine-Very Fine, a worthwhile lot which is challenging to find with this many items
