Folded letter datelined "Green Bank, Jan. 26, 1827" and addressed to Philadelphia Pa., indistinct despatch cancel and manuscript prepaid rating "2/3", clear "Annaps, Md, APR 16" circular datestamp and red "Ship" handstamp in transit with manuscript rated "14-1/2" due, Very Fine, carried by Falmouth Packet Princess Elizabeth from Falmouth to Bermuda, then Cunard Packet Emily to Annapolis, this is the only recorded letter from this voyage of the only ten voyages carried by Cunard to Annapolis to Oct. 1827 when the service was terminated, this occurred as the Falmouth to New York service was terminated in 1826 so letters were carried to Bermuda and sent by Cunard to Annapolis, ex Winter and Barwis

Carried on the Cunard "Merlin" to Halifax, then by packet on "Europa" to Liverpool. This is one of the latest strikes recorded from Ireland Isle.
