Position R 1/1, top left corner selvage single, on piece with light centrally struck Hamilton Jan. 21, 1948 circular datestamp, intense colors, Very Fine, this Blank Scroll variety is one of the rarest and most dramatic of all the Bermuda keyplates, it occurred on the March 1943 printing only, and since there was no colonial distribution, used examples are especially rare, SG £2,000

Large wove paper measuring 505 x 377mm with 27 pencil sketches for a proposed series of King George VI prepared for an official competition, designs ultimately adopted for Queen Elizabeth II issue of 1953 for the 1p, 1-1/2p, 2-1/2p, and 1sh designs (Scott 144, 145, 147, 155; SG 136, 137, 139, 144), prepared by artist James Berry, folded along prior folds, Very Fine and undoubtedly unique, James Berry was an accomplished artist who is known for many designs of New Zealand, Cook Islands, Western Samoa, Niue, Tonga, and others, with 2005 Sismondo certificate
