New York Bo" part right imprint, just in at bottom, lightly cancelled, small crease and tiny tear at top left, Fine appearance, an extremely rare example of the 5c 1856 Issue with part imprint, we record only fourteen copies with part of the imprint and this example shows a greater percentage of it than most, ex Eubanks, with 1990 P.F. certificate

VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN OUTSTANDING 5-CENT 1856 ISSUE STAMP WITH INTERPANE AND CENTERLINE MARGIN, AND BELGIAN ACCOUNTANCY HANDSTAMP.

The presence of the Belgian accountancy handstamp on this 5c 1856 stamp is very unusual. Only one cover is known to Belgium (offered in Sale 1242, lot 319)--it also bears this marking but not near the stamp.
