VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT 1851 PINKISH SHADE. ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL SHADES.

The 3c comes in a remarkably wide range of shades, reflecting its widespread demand to pay the most common postal rate. Among the rarest shades is the Pinkish, which differs significantly from other shades.

With 2012 P.F. certificate as Type II, which it is not.
