VERY FINE AND CHOICE. A RARE SOUND FOUR-MARGIN USED STRIP OF THREE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE.
Pairs or two singles would often be used on double 10c rate covers, but strips of three, blocks of four or other large multiples were infrequently used. As an indication of the rarity of 10c 1847 multiples larger than a pair, Scott assigns a value of $2,300.00 for a pair, but $10,000.00 for a strip of three.
With 1999, 2007 and 2012 P.F. certificates
