VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE COMPLETE PANE OF 50 OF THE 1888 SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE PLATE PROOF ON CARD.

This is the first example of a complete pane of the 1888 Special Delivery plate proof on card to appear in Power Search since our 1982 Rarities sale. Scott Catalogue lists but does not price a plate block of this proof. Scott value as blocks of four and singles is $1,800.00, which does not remotely capture the rarity of this complete pane
