Argentina Exceptional Collection of Stampless Covers. Over 140 stampless covers ranging from 1770s-1870s, many neatly mounted on exhibit pages but also loose and on dealer or auction lot cards, with obvious heavy focus on the various markings of Buenos Aires but we also notice strikes from Cordoba, Jujuy, Mendosa, Mercedes, Rosario, St. Nicholas, Salta, San Juan, Santiago de Estero, and Tucuman, wide range of uses including Official correspondence and destinations around South America, plus others to Europe and the U.S. towards the later period, some rare strikes noticed, some only used for a period of less than a year, even two examples with the blue Mensagerias pictorial stage coach handstamp, some mixed condition and a few fronts but much is Fine-Very Fine, a fantastic basis from which to build an important collection

Argentina Collection Accumulation. Main base of the collection housed on stockpages in seven albums spanning the period of the 1860s Rivadavia Issue thru 1990s, we notice numerous medium priced items with values to several hundred each, some duplication present, even the occasional proof item, rest of the collection mostly loose and on stock cards with better items scattered with singles and better souvenir sheets, though we do notice a specialized collection of the 1877 and 1882 Rivadavia Overprints on pages, plus a large group of covers and stationery with some interesting early frankings, some slightly mixed condition but much is Fine or better

Argentina 1910 Centenary of the Republic, the Definitive Specialized Offering. Exceptional collection amassed over the course of many years through auctions, mail sales and private acquisitions through dealers such as Brian Moorhouse, with just over 2,800 items as singles or contained in pairs, blocks, imprint blocks, part and complete panes, the main focus on the pre-production material of proofs and essays of this colorful issue, begins with the various unadopted designs proposed by the South American Bank Note Company in Buenos Aires including perforated examples with varieties, issued stamps organized by denomination with strong coverage from the -1/2c-20p including die proofs on issued paper and cards, color trials in a myriad of orientations, photographic models from which the stamp was inspired, among much more, even includes four examples of he 12c imperforate with inverted center, some issued stamps including scarce inverted and reversed watermarks, imprint blocks, etc. and over 30 covers

Argentina Impressive Offering of Proofs & Essays. Over 1,900 items as singles or contained in pairs, blocks and even panes covering the period from 1890s-1920s, we even notice some rejected/unadopted designs, wide variety of material from various die proofs, large die, compound die, model proofs, plate proofs on paper or card, and color trials of numerous issues from the period mentioned, quite a bit of Rivadavia designs incl. panes of 100 of the 1860s 5c, 10c and 15c designs in Black, most of the material bought individually from mail sales with original descriptions accompanying, mostly Fine-Very Fine, careful viewing is encouraged as offerings of this size are rarely encountered

Armenia Collection. 1919-1922, on homemade album pages, and some on stockpages and loose, nearly complete for all of the major Scott numbers, plus numerous varieties throughout, both listed and unlisted, also some covers (mostly post-independence when part of the U.S.S.R.), labels, and a few revenues, Fine-Very Fine, this appears to be a genuine effort to collect this difficult country, but since the overprints have not been expertized they must be offered on their merits (if all were certified, we would increase our estimate by many multiples), see the PDF scan on our website

British Commonwealth Dealer's Stock. The Excelsior Collection stock neatly laid out on sales cards and stockcards, early to modern, with a good portion 20th Century, useful sets and singles throughout, with unused (including many Mint N.H.) and used, catalogue value from a few dollars to several hundred ($847.00 was the highest we saw), popular areas such as Falkland Islands, India, and Malaya are represented, overall a very clean stock with hardly any faults, Fine-Very Fine, Scott value is about $130,000.00

British Commonwealth Unused Collection. Housed in 20 Scott Specialty albums, from a large number of colonies, a small portion is 19th Century, which is mainly definitives from the later part of the century, vast majority is 20th Century, from 1900-1936, no King George VI, but includes substantial QEII, which is complete or nearly so for many colonies, many going to the early 1980s, the early period includes complete sets, short or broken sets, and high values, the overall quality is much nicer than usually found, the early issues are mostly fresh and lightly hinged, though we spot-checked the better values and noticed several Mint Never-Hinged from this period, nearly all of the QEII is Mint Never-Hinged, Fine-Very Fine throughout, a clean and highly saleable collection, the PDF scans on our website represent just a tiny fraction of pages in the earlier period
