EXTREMELY FINE USED EXAMPLE OF THE $2.00 1894 UNWATERMARKED BUREAU ISSUE.

With 2019 P.F. certificate (XF 90)
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB JUMBO USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1895 $5.00 WATERMARKED BUREAU ISSUE.
The $5.00 was usually heavily cancelled or used on heavy parcels which were not treated kindly. The example offered here, with Jumbo margins, choice centering and rich color, is a true rarity.
With 2012 P.F. and 2013 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $5,500.00). This is the only used Scott 278 in the P.S.E. Population Report with a Jumbo grade. There are four that grade higher (at 98), but none of those have the margin size of this example.
