FINE AND ENORMOUSLY RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1868 ONE-CENT LARGE QUEEN ON LAID PAPER. THIS IS THE FINEST OF THE TWO OR THREE THAT EXIST. ONE OF THE KEY STAMPS FOR THE LARGE QUEEN COLLECTOR AND A MAJOR CANADIAN RARITY.

The Unitrade catalogue notes "fewer than 10 unused copies" of the 1c are recorded. Nearly all are without gum and have faults to some degree. Power Search reveals this is the only original-gum example we have ever offered.
