FINE-VERY FINE. A FRESH AND HANDSOME SET OF THE 1921 OVERPRINTS. ONLY 50 SETS ARE KNOWN TO HAVE SURVIVED.

This series was produced at the order of the Minister of the Colonies in January 1921. Two months later it was determined the wrong monetary unit ("Anna") was included on the top five values and so the issue was ordered to be destroyed. 50 of each value survived destruction. Sassone notes "50 sets are known, some of which are defective."
