Fourteen stamps, mostly lightly hinged, few Mint N.H., Michel No. 52A both unused and used, includes 20k on 50k with inverted overprint (25 surcharged), wonderfully fresh colors

VERY FINE. A REMARKABLE ASSEMBLAGE OF FAR EASTERN REPUBLIC 1923 AIR POST STAMPS. THESE ARE SOME OF THE RAREST WORLDWIDE AIR POST STAMPS SURCHARGED WITH BETWEEN 25-100 PRINTED.

Owing to their great rarity, single examples are seldom encountered. Only between 25-100 of each were surcharged. Groups such as the lot offered here are rarely ever available.

Each stamp signed at least once. All but the two 20k on 50k stamps signed Bloch. Michel value €20,000 (Michel No. 56A with inverted surcharge as normal despite greater rarity)
