EXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE $25.00 HIGH-VALUE PERAK. RARELY ENCOUNTERED IN THIS PREMIUM CONDITION.

The $25.00 Perak is a major rarity of the Malay States and far more difficult to encounter than the same denomination from the Federated States and Selangor. This stamp is found with far more frequency with the "Specimen" overprint. Unused examples are often faulty to some degree and most are found with "washed" or faded colors.
