Panama and Via Panama Incredible Postal History Group. Total of 25 covers, sixteen are stampless Panama frankings incl. Panama Franco and Panama de Oficio (only recorded with both strikes, ex Santa Maria), Panama Franco with stars, Panama de Oficio (3), Portovlo (one of two known used during New Granada period, ex Santa Maria), Veragua Franca (two known, only black example), Veragua de Oficio (three of the six recorded), David de Oficio (two recorded), Nata (two of the three recorded), H.C.DE.L.S. (only two recorded, ex Goeggel) and Administracion de Correos Colon, Franca (2), two italicized "Transit" handstamp covers (less than ten examples recorded), fancy blue "Colon" handstamp (few known), "Steam Panama" with original contents describing Chincha Islands War, plus four via Panama covers from Chile, Peru (incl. one from ca. 1810) and two New Zealand, mostly Fine-Very Fine, a remarkable opportunity to acquire these Panama-related covers, many of which would retail for hundreds to thousands of dollars each

Panama Specialized Collection of Postal History and Stamps. Most of exhibition pages, which tells the story of the mail to, through and from Panama, not only using items from Panama, but stamps and covers from all over the world, with such diverse items as Peru 1857 1r Pacific Steampship Navigation stamp (P.F. certificate), France 1869 5fr Napoleon die proof in black, and U.S. 1893 $5.00 Columbian, the Panama stamps have very little in straightforward material, they are mostly proofs, specimens, or errors, including 1915 5c and 20c with inverted center, the strength of the exhibit is in postal history, which shows how Panama became a major player in international mail, there are several covers from the British Post Office in Panama, including a Paid in Crown Circle, various ship covers, forwarding agents (including one with three different forwarding agents handstamps), U.S. usages that went thru Panama, covers related to the early development of the Panama Canal, and more, many of the covers were purchased for hundreds of dollars each, somewhat mixed condition, a most interesting lot containing many better items

Romania, 1866-72 Prince Carol Imperforate Issues, Specialized Collection. On pages and stockcards, hundreds of unused or used, including partial plate reconstructions, groups showing all the different cliche types (these are mostly unused), 1872 50b (No. 49) with all seven types, blocks, varieties, cancels, and more, somewhat mixed quality, but many four-margin Very Fine stamps are present, excellent lot for the specialist, and whose total catalogue value will be impressively high
