Worldwide Heads of State Autograph Collection. Fascinating array of over 65 autographs collected by William N. Castor during the mid-late 1940s from various heads of states, Presidents and Royal family members, nearly all signed on stamps depicting themselves and incl. the original covers sent back to Mr. Castor and any accompanying cover letter (some even hand-written by signee), we notice U.S. heads such as Eleanor Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Herbert Hoover, Douglas MacArthur, Lyndon B. Johnson and Harry Truman, many European royal family heads incl. Edward VIII (after abdication as Duke of Windsor) and Francisco Franco of Spain, various Middle Eastern rulers such as Shah Pavlavi of Iran, South American, African incl. Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, Asia with many Malay State Sultans, Chiang Kai-shek of China and even C.V. Brooke (the last "White Rajah" of Sarawak), among much more, mostly Fine or better
