VERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED STRIKES OF THE "VERAGUA FRANCA" OVAL HANDSTAMP, AND THE SOLE EXAMPLE IN BLACK.

The other recorded example is struck in red on an undated cover. The significance of the differing colors of the handstamp is unknown, as they each represented full prepayment of postage
