VERY FINE. A CHOICE UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 1916 HALF-PENNY GREEN & BUFF. ONLY 12 UNUSED EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN RECORDED.
Only 25 were printed. Gibbs records just twelve unused and four used (including two on cover). Several of the unused have faults, making the example offered here one of the finest examples in existence.
Ex "Samos". With 1980 B.P.A. certificate
FINE AND RARE EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-PENNY CARMINE & BUFF. ONLY 11 UNUSED EXAMPLES RECORDED.
A total of 20 examples were printed. Gibbs records only 11 unused examples. All examples of this value have poor centering.

EXTREMELY FINE COMPLETE SHEET OF 20 OF THE ONE-PENNY MAUVE ON LAID PAPER. ONLY THREE COMPLETE SHEETS OF SG 12 ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST PER GIBBS, THE ONLY PLATE 8 KNOWN.
Only 22 sheets were printed with 129 remainders ultimately destroyed. Of those, naturally, most sheets were either cut up to be used or feed collector demand for singles and positional blocks. Signed Gibbs. SG value as singles
VERY FINE APPEARING BLOCKS OF FOUR SHOWING TWO EXAMPLES OF THE RARE "ONR" FOR "ONE" ERROR. ONLY SEVEN EXAMPLES HAVE BEEN RECORDED.
It is believed that a total of 12 were printed. There are five positions on four plates were this error occurred - Plate 2, position 17, Plate 4, position 18 and 20, Plate 5, position 13 and Plate 6, position 18. Bottom left block signed Gibbs. SG value as singles
STILL FINE AND EXCEPTIONALLY RARE AND UNIQUE PLATE NO. 3 MULTIPLE OF THE 6-PENCE BLUE ON WOVE PAPER. A MAJOR LONG ISLAND RARITY.
Only two sheets of 24 were printed, leaving the possibility of two plate numbers - this as the sole recorded example as Plate 2 is not recorded. According to H. Pirie-Gordon, one sheet of remainders was destroyed. This must not be the case as there are Plate 2 examples known and a block of twelve in the British National Postal Museum. Gibbs records 37 examples recorded with this as the only known strip of four. SG value as singles
