Nine 1861 covers, one Independent State use from Mobile Ala. on Jan. 16, the others Confederate State uses, including Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina, four with 3c 1857 Issue stamps (26) and the rest on Star Die entires (U26-U27), one is an all-over lithographed attorney advertising cover from Greenville S.C. which is a likely Confederate use with a strongly crossed out "In U.S. Courts", but without a confirming year date, small edge tears on one No. 26 cover and toning on another (a border embossed lady's small cover), overall a Fine-Very Fine and desirable group
