Japanese Occupation Stamps of World War II. With occupation of Malaya, North Borneo, Brunei, Burma, Dutch East Indies and Philippines, incl. the scarce 1942 North Borneo set complete, but the stamps have suffered from immersion in water, does incl. a note signed by Milo Rowell that they are genuine, also Thai Occupation of Kelantan 1943 Issue, four of the five values (most with sheet selvage), and more incl. some Postal Stationery and a few covers, majority Fine-Very Fine, careful scrutiny of this interesting lot is suggested

Latin and South America American Bank Note Large Die Proofs. Eighteen, wide variety from El Salvador, Panama, Venezuela, Honduras, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Brazil and Colombia, incl. those printed on India and die sunk, printed on cards, transitional die proofs, etc., also with an additional five examples from Philippines, Luxembourg and Suriname, plus Canada No. 276 with engraver's signature in selvage, Fine-Very Fine, originating from a new find from the estate of Leo C. Kauffmann who was an engraver at the American Bank Note Company

Mounted on Scott pages, with 1924 First Issue and the 1926 "Postage" overprint series in each of the listed overprint colors of violet, black and red, also incl. the $5.00 with black overprint (unpriced in Scott), and the 50c and $1.00 with red overprint (unlisted in Scott), accompanied by a handwritten 1936 "Certificat" in French on Royal letterhead of Prince S. de Megeve of Comte de Capre stating he purchased this collection which won first prize at the 1928 Philatelic Exhibition in Monte Carlo and 1929 in Le Havre, Very Fine
