CUBA, Covers. Scott National album filled with Cuba and Spanish-American War covers, incl. April 1861 folded letter describing how ship Habaneros was confiscated to take Spanish troops to Batabanos (Cayman Islands), nice group of U.S. Military Station markings, some colorful U.S. Administration frankings and registered covers, Pigeon Post message from USS St. Louis, also 1898 invitation to dinner honoring the "Rough Riders", pair of Cuba No. 221 used in Washington D.C. before they were available in Cuba (Jan. 1899), "Despatch to Spain Prohibited..." label on cover (faults), several other better, some flaws to be expected but overall fresh and Fine-Very Fine, a fascinating assemblage of covers
