Horizontal strip of three with the third stamp diagonally bisected, used in combination with a single 5c on a very rare registered small cover to Segovia, all stamps well tied by three strikes of violet “Medellin” in oval postmarks, with manuscript registration symbol in center, as well as endorsed “Muy recomendada al Sr. Dn. Cipriano Arango” at bottom left, the stamps paying the single registered rate made up of 2-1/2c for registration fee and 5c for postage, tear to backflap
VERY FINE AND MOST ATTRACTIVE. A UNIQUE FRANKING INCLUDING THE USE OF A BISECTED STAMP, AS WELL AS BEING A REGISTERED COVER - OF WHICH ONLY THREE ARE KNOW FROM ANTIOQUIA.
