The Horse Head and Union Soldier's Head cancellations are two of the more famous fancy cancellations to be used in New York City.

This is the only example of this shade we have offered with a green cancel since keeping computerized records.

We also record nine on covers, plus three unused, for a total of 56 potential examples. Several need to be reexamined to confirm the shade.
