EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1873 10-CENT CONTINENTAL BANK NOTE COMPANY ISSUE, WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED TO DATE.

With 2008 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Superb 98; SMQ $12,500.00). This is the highest grade awarded to date and only two others have achieved this grade.

With copy of 2002 and with 2004 P.S.E. certificates (DOG, Superb 98 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $20,300.00 as previously hinged). This is the highest rating received by any example of Scott 166 (used or original gum) to date.
