Used and Unused Collection. Several hundred stamps on old-time Scott pages and black stock sheets, 19th Century is used and incl. over 70 different with 1861 values to 90c, few 1867 Grills, fair number of Bank Notes incl. 90c 1873 with red cancel, there is also an unusual 1c 1880 Pictorial Re-issue No. 133 with a small circular cancel in purple (probably non-postal), 20th Century starts off used and unused and becomes all unused around 1922 until the end (1935), the better unused incl. some coil singles and pairs, ten different to the 15c from the 1916-17 Perf 10 Unwatermarked Issue, nearly complete 1917-19 Perf 11 with several choice examples, Coil Waste Nos. 541, 545-546, 578-579 and 595, few better Postage Dues in exceptional condition with Nos. J48, J49 (two) and a block of four No. J74 (bottom pair Mint N.H.), the used is very mixed quality, the unused is virtually all Fine-Very Fine with some in higher grades

Postal and Collector Forgeries. Nine items, incl. old lithographic forgeries of Scott Nos. 2, 39 (two), 244 and 245, all with fake cancels, earlier 20th Century 2c Washington Scott Type A157 (similar to No. 583), The Boston or New York forgery, Mint N.H. and beautifully centered, perf 14, with Varro Tyler article not mentioning the perf 14 variety which is mentioned by Petschel in "Spurious Stamps", lastly more modern vintage postal forgeries with unused (no gum) imperforate vertical and horizontal pairs of No. 1510, reasonably good facsimiles and would probably fool the general public, and a perforated block of four of No. 1618, Mint N.H., not as well executed as the 10c but a passable job that would fool many, very interesting and desirable lot for the specialist
