1c Ultramarine, Grill (134). H. Grill, original gum, lightly hinged, attractive margins and exceptionally well-centered, beautiful bright pastel colorEXTREMELY FINE. A VERY DIFFICULT STAMP TO FIND WITH THIS OUTSTANDING APPEARANCE AND WITH FULL ORIGINAL GUM.

3c Green, Grill (136). H. Grill, original gum, bright color and sharp impression on crisp white paper, beautifully centered with extra wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A GORGEOUS 1870 3-CENT GRILLED NATIONAL BANK NOTE ISSUE IN SUPERB ORIGINAL-GUM CONDITION.
The 3c is more challenging to find in this superior grade than many of the other grilled issues, even though it has a lower catalogue value.
