Philippines (Spanish Administration) Collection. Remarkably complete offering of these scarce and popular issues with only about twenty stamps lacking for completeness, two are used (Nos. 1 and 7) latter faint cancellation, others either unused or original gum which seems to be case for the vast majority, the Nos. 4 and 5 with the characteristic "weak" colors which is always the case, also includes No. 46 in Rose trial color proof and No. 97 double overprint, there are a couple misidentifications of no serious nature, there are a few scattered faults but the quality of this collection is far superior to that normally seen, virtually all Fine-Very Fine, desirable and worthwhile lot
