ARGENTINA. Impressive nearly complete collection in a Scott Specialty album, begins with six 1792-1850 stampless covers, then stamps from 1858 to the early 1950's, in the 1858 Confederation there are unused multiples and a rather attractive10c and 15c tied on piece, 1858 and 1860 5c-15c with large pieces for plating study (mostly, if not all, ex FDR), two No. 1 and one No. 2 covers, First Republic with unused and used singles, covers of Nos. 5, 6, 7C, 7Cd and 7Ce, 1864-67 Rividavia with used No. 9 (3), No. 10 (repaired), some less expensive covers and quite a nice showing of cancellations, continues with some degree of specialization for surcharges, perforations and other printing varieties until about 1930, then generally one-of-a-kind to 1953, Semi-Postals with 50p Anthem souvenir sheet, air post complete less the green Zeppelin overprints but there are some nice first issue covers, officials and official department stamps apparently complete with some varieties, Buenos Aires nearly complete used plus a No. 10 pair on cover and some reference material, Cordoba No. 2 (repaired), and extensive Corrientes with tete-beche pairs and covers (all but No. 2), a delightful collection in almost entirely Fine-Very Fine condition, deserves careful examination
