Six covers, incl. one from San Juan, Puerto Rico with U.S. Department of Agriculture Weather Bureau imprint and addressed to General Aguinaldo, red "Mil. Sta. No. 1, Manila P.I. Mar. 30, 1899 General Delivery" handstamp, others with various markings incl. triangular provisional handstamp, large purple oval "Comandancia Militar Del Puesto De Daet" handstamp, few small faults, Very Fine and scarce group, General Aguinaldo's revolution was supported by the U.S. government during the Spanish-American War and he took control of most of the island of Luzon. His Revolutionary Government operated postal telegraph and revenue systems. After the U.S. proclaimed sovereignty over the Philippines, Agionaldo's forces revolted against the Americans. He was eventually captured on March 23, 1901.

As noted in Scott Catalogue, the 1925 printing (offered here) was the original post office issue. They were reprinted twice in 1931 for collectors in a slightly different color from the originals. The reprints form the basis for the major Scott-number listing; the originals are numbered 340a-353a and E6a.
