According to Napp this pane is either unique, or else one other is recorded. Only 1,000 were printed, and the issue sold out on the first day.

Probably less than five complete panes are known. Contrary to the generally accepted number of 4,000 stamps issued, only 2,000 were actually printed and issued.

The vignette was printed one stamp at a time, which made it possible for an extra single impression to appear on a sheet. This is a new discovery and becomes the unique basis of a future Scott listing.
