VERY FINE. ONE OF THREE RECORDED COVERS WITH A COMBINATION OF THE OFFICIAL PERFORATED ISSUE AND A PRE-WAR UNITED STATES STAMP.

There are six recorded turned usages of the officially perforated stamps, including three combinations with United States stamps issued before the war. A similar cover realized $1,700 hammer in our Sale 801 (June 1998).
