Mar. 28" star duplex on intact legal-size cover paying 36 times the UPU rate to France, printed address and ship endorsement, 1890 Paris backstamp; cover with some edgewear and vertical file fold at left, still Very Fine, a handsome and very rare usage. Although the 90c Purple saw extensive use on parcels - collectors record a number of large used blocks - very few covers survive. This is probably the finest known usage on a full cover, with 1992 P.F. certificate
