The top stamp, 8GL almost qualifies as a Ty. III, since in addition to the wide break at top, the bottom line below the "CE" of "Cent" is broken. This incomparable strip is illustrated in Ashbrook, Brookman & Neinken, with comments on its beauty. It is one of the greatest of all 1c 1851 pieces. The epitome of perfection
