EXTREMELY FINE. A GORGEOUS USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1870 24-CENT NATIONAL BANK NOTE COMPANY GRILLED ISSUE. ESPECIALLY RARE WITH A PROMINENT BLUE CANCEL.

We can count on one hand the number of Scott 142's with blue cancels we have offered.

With 1999 P.F. and 2009 P.S.E. certificates (F-VF 75; SMQ $3,000.00 as 70, $6,000.00 as 80). In our opinion the P.S.E. did not give this a fair grade.
