'Culumbus'" [sic], Cuban stamps with few minor nibbed perfs not mentioned on accompanying certificate

VERY FINE. A RARE CUBA-UNITED STATES COMBINATION FRANKING ON AN INCOMING STEAMSHIP COVER TO BOSTON. PARTICULARLY DESIRABLE WITH BOTH COUNTRIES' STAMPS PAYING REGULAR POSTAGE INSTEAD OF FORWARDING OR POSTAGE DUE.

The sender in Cuba apparently had a supply of 10c U.S. stamps and used one when posting this cover in Matanzas. The New York exchange office cancelled the stamp and forwarded it on to Boston.
