VERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXCEPTIONALLY RARE USE OF THIS CONFEDERATE GEORGIA PATRIOTIC FLAG DESIGN. THIS IS THE ONLY EXAMPLE WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED.

This rare Georgia design is listed in the C.S.A. Catalog as known used only on the Savannah Postmaster's Provisional entire. We have not offered another example in our auctions. This was acquired by the Kilbournes privately in 1967 for $750.
