and with "GB/40c"
Anglo-French accountancy handstamp, also with manuscript "2" indicating double weight, large manuscript "16" for 1.6 lira due, London, Paris and arrival backstamps, 3c strip placed over edge of cover and also scissors-separated affecting perfs, 1c piece out at upper right, still Very Fine, a colorful and very unusual use, franked to pay the 38c rate via Prussian Closed Mail, this must have missed the sailing of the HAPAG's Borussia
on Dec. 1 and was instead placed aboard the Inman Line's City of Baltimore
and sent via Open Mail, the stamps ended up only paying the 21c rate via American Packet with the remainder due from recipient, with 2006 P.F. certificate
