EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A STUNNING USED EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT 1851 ISSUE IN THE CLARET SHADE. ONE OF ONLY FIVE EXAMPLES TO ACHIEVE THE PERFECT GRADE OF GEM 100 JUMBO BY THE P.S.E.

With 2012 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 100, SMQ $1,000.00 as 100 in the Dull Red shade). This is the highest grade possible on the grading chart and this is likely the only in the Claret shade to achieve it.
