Mostly full margins to just clear at top right, used with 1860, 60c Brown Violet, Thick Numerals (13b), large balanced margins, both tied by "Admon de Correos, Montevideo, 30 ABRIL, 1862" oval datestamp on blue folded cover to Buenos Aires, Argentina, sender's directive "p. Mississippi"VERY FINE AND SCARCE COMBINATION USE OF THE 240-CENTÉSIMOS THIN NUMERALS AND 60-CENTÉSIMOS THICK NUMERALS ON COVER. LESS THAN TEN COMBINATION COVERS ARE KNOWN.

2c Carmine, Ty. I, Schermack Ty. I, Eight Holes (320). Block of four with top sheet margin, including extra perfs in sheet margin, original gum, h.r., light crease in top of right sheet margin of little consequence and not noted on certificate, Very Fine, with 1989 P.S.E. certificate
1864, 2c Rose Vermilion (31). Horizontal pair, tied by target cancels with "Honolulu Hawaiian-Islands Jan. 25" circular datestamp on cover addressed to Mr. Amau in Honolulu, red and black Chinese writing at right, toning including around perfs of stamps, otherwise Fine, possibly originated in China
24c Steel Blue (70b). Deep rich color in the true Steel Blue shade, nicely complemented by red grid cancel, Very Fine, with 1997 P.F. certificate
10c Green, Ty. III (33). Two, one with right selvage, small faults, tied by "New York Nov. 5" Ocean Mail circular datestamp on oatmeal cover to San Francisco with Irving & Clark, Wholesale Furniture Manufacturer's embossed cameo corner card, small scuff in address and slight edgewear, Very Fine appearance, a scarce use with this cancel on a beautiful cameo corner card cover
10c Orange, Special Delivery (E3). Mint N.H. with bottom left corner selvage, radiant color, gigantic margins on the stamp itselfEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED CORNER-MARGIN EXAMPLE OF THE 1893 10-CENT ORANGE SPECIAL DELIVERY ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 JUMBO BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.
The 10c Orange Special Delivery Issue was released concurrently with the 1893 Columbian Issue and is therefore considered by many to be a part of that issue. The stamp was printed in orange, instead of blue, to avoid confusion with the 1c Columbian.
With 2022 P.F. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo). This is the highest grade awarded by the P.F. and it is shared by no others. By way of comparison, the P.S.E. Population Report lists four Mint N.H. E3s at 95 and none higher.
10c Black (2). Positions 46/56R, vertical pair, large margins to full, clear impressions on bright paper, light strikes of red grid cancelEXTREMELY FINE. VERTICAL PAIRS OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE ARE EXCEEDINGLY RARE IN SUCH OUTSTANDING QUALITY.
Ex Rust, Koppersmith, Wall and Mayer. With 1987 and 2004 P.F. certificates.
1c Green, Farwell Group 5, 4A5 (408). Guide line pair, original gum, single hinge mark, bright color and large margins, Very Fine and choice, a scarce guide line pair with Farwell Group 5 4A5 perforations and a nice companion to the Scott 408 5A4 guide line pair offered in the following lot, both are the only examples listed in Power Search, with 1992 P.F. certificate

24c Red Lilac (70). Fresh and bright color, well-centered, bold strike of red grid cancel, Very Fine, with 2008 P.F. certificate (VF 80), also with 1995 P.S.E. certificate stating Scott No. 70 but oddly calling the shade "Dark Red Violet"
