EXTREMELY FINE GEM. A STUNING MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT PAN-AMERICAN ISSUE, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- ONLY ONE HAS GRADED HIGHER.
With 2004 P.F. and 2010 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $4,250.00). Only one has graded higher (at 100) and only nine others share this high grade.
EXTREMELY FINE GEM. AN INCOMPARABLE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT PAN-AMERICAN ISSUE, WHICH HAS BEEN AWARDED THE PERFECT GRADE OF GEM 100 FROM P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED AND IS EQUALED BY NO OTHERS.
With 2017 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $1,750.00 as 98). This is the highest grade awarded to a used 5c Pan-American and it is the only example to achieve this grade. The next highest is a single example graded 98. In fact, the only other Pan-American which has been graded Gem 100 in used condition by P.S.E. is the 2c, with two examples. When quantities issued are factored in, this 5c Gem 100 becomes even more extraordinary. More than 200 million of the 2c were issued, versus just 7.2 million of the 5c This is a used early commemorative of exceptional beauty
