19th & 20th Century Unused and Used Collection. Actually two collections formed by the same collector, at one time they may have been separate unused and used collections, but both albums now have both unused and used stamps, and there is a group of loose material (mainly on auction lot cards) that was never mounted, includes used classics (both albums contain a No. 1 and 2), toward the late 19th Century one album contains more unused, both have complete sets of the Columbian and Trans-Mississippi issues, 20th Century contains useful unused, particularly Washington-Franklins, and an array of Back-of-Book issues, while condition is mixed, many of the better items were purchased at auction and are Fine-Very Fine, with an occasional Extremely Fine stamp, several with certificates, careful viewing is recommended

1857-67 Small Balance. Two high-catalogue value stamps, used No. 19b and unused No. 85B (small part original gum), both with small flaws and the Z Grill toned, otherwise Fine, Scott Retail counting 85B as no gum

19th & 20th Century Balance (287/716). 23 stamps on stock cards, incl. 10X1 forgery, Nos. 287, 288, 298, 304, 308, 323-324, 328, 397-399, 616, 629, also a group of 2c Reds between Nos. 643/716, most Mint N.H., fresh and Very Fine group with some Extremely Fine, Scott Retail more than $1,000.00

United States and Worldwide Balance. United States incl. some used 19th Century on album pages and unused 20th Century incl. blocks, the Worldwide is mostly 20th Century singles and blocks from a variety of countries, some Fine-Very Fine

Balance. Hinged onto pages, incl. used Nos. 294-299, unused K1-K18, some used Air Post, appear Fine

Collection Balance. Mix of material from 1893 to 1930's, best items including Nos. 242 (no gum), imprint pairs of 285-286, blocks of 285 and 289, single 290, block and single of 296, block of 330, few 1909 Commemoratives, 419, later including White Plains sheet, Presidential dollar values in blocks, Farley blocks, few others, mostly Fine

Collection Balance. Group ranging from 1857 to 20th Century, including used Nos. 35 pair with Boston "Paid", 73, 139, 114 (green target), 545 pair tied by New York machine cancel on piece, unused including Nos. 229 (regummed), 330 block of four (barely hinged), 591 Mint N.H. graded XF 90 but with bit of oxidation in corner, 828 Mint N.H. graded Superb 98, Q12, a couple small flaws on the earlier issues, overall Fine-Very Fine, Scott Retail more than $3,200.00

Diverse Balance of United States Collection. Three large boxes with a wide array of material, mint U.N. collection in Scott National album as well as loose U.N., large amount of face incl. more than 40 sets of 1976 Bicentennial sheets, more than $200 face of 1986 Ameripex sheets, five $1.00 sheets and 10 full set sheets of 1998 Trans-Mississippi, lots of other face not well organized so difficult to count, several binders of inexpensive used stamps, box of postal entires, some reference material on colors incl. Vol. I of White's color book (no binder, some toning), the patient buyer will find some value here

More than 400 stamps on manila stock cards with much duplication, many selected by owner for interesting cancels and varieties, range of issues from 1847 to later Large Bank Notes, a number of highlights incl. Nos. 1 (two), 12, 17, 28, 29, 30A, 36 or 36B (four), 38 (unused, no gum), 39 (unused, no gum), 1861 Issues with heavy duplication incl. many 63's (one vertical pair revenue use), 67, 69 (seven), 71 (ten), 72 (four), large number of 73's, 75 (three), 76 (eight), 78 (two), large group of Grills, 1869 Issue incl. lower values plus 15c (Ty. I and three Ty. Group of 30+ items, including stamps, proofs and a few forgeries, most interesting of the stamps are two "used" 90c 1860 with questionable cancels, both faulty, few Confederate Provisional items, range of essays and proofs including No. 11E3c, couple Lowenberg patent items, Justice card proofs, RS228TC in Black, also couple Carrier and Local covers, mixed condition, some appears Fine
