This is the highest grade awarded to date and the only example to achieve this exalted grade.

2c Carmine (220). Horizontal pair, s.e. at L., on piece cut to size, duplex cancel and purple framed "Saved from Wreck of S.S. Eider" handstamp, some small faults, still a Very Fine strike, illustrated in Hopkins where it is noted that this is the only known example of a wreck cachet on adhesive postage stamps - accompanied by a cover (ad on back) with the same marking partly struck and stamps floated off
